This policy explains how Robot Traders OÜ collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use robottraders.io or purchase services from us.
1. Data Controller
Robot Traders OÜ is the data controller. For any questions about your data, contact robot.traders@protonmail.com.
2. What Data We Collect

Cookies and analytics. This website does not currently use cookies or web analytics. Embedded content from third parties (e.g. YouTube videos) may set cookies on their own behalf. If cookies or analytics tools are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required, consent will be obtained before any non-essential cookies are placed.

Stripe and Discord act as independent data controllers for data processed on their respective platforms. See Stripe's Privacy Policy and Discord's Privacy Policy. All other services listed above act as data processors.
No data is sold to third parties. Data is only shared as necessary to deliver the purchased products and services. Not all services listed above are used for every transaction; usage depends on the product or service purchased.
For development engagements, clients may request restrictions on which third-party tools are used to process their data. Such restrictions must be agreed in writing before work begins and may affect project pricing.
5. International Transfers
Your data is primarily processed within the EU/EEA and Switzerland (which benefits from an EU adequacy decision). Some services listed in section 4 are based in the United States. International transfers to the US are protected by EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the recipient is certified, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Data Retention
- Transaction and invoicing records: retained for 7 years to comply with Estonian accounting obligations.
- Communication records related to transactions and service delivery: retained for 7 years to comply with accounting obligations and for dispute resolution. General enquiries that do not result in a transaction are deleted within 2 years.
- Payment card data: managed by Stripe according to their retention policy. Robot Traders OÜ does not store card details.
- Project deliverables: retained for the duration of the business relationship and for 7 years after completion to comply with accounting and legal obligations, unless deletion is requested and no legal retention obligation applies. Deliverables that do not contain personal data may be retained as part of the company's portfolio.
- Client credentials (API keys, tokens shared during development): deleted within 30 days of project completion unless ongoing access is required for maintenance.
7. Providing Your Data
Providing your personal data (name, email, billing details) is necessary to enter into a contract and for us to deliver the purchased product or service. Without this data, we cannot process your order.
8. Automated Decision-Making
Robot Traders OÜ does not use automated decision-making or profiling as defined under GDPR Article 22.
9. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data (where no legal retention obligation applies)
- Restrict processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you object, we will stop processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see section 10)
To exercise any of these rights, email robot.traders@protonmail.com. We will respond without undue delay and in any event within one month.

11. Changes to This Policy
